Sam & Aaron Wedding
Sam and Aaron's wedding was a beautiful and personal celebration. It took place at Aaron's grandma Judy's home in Seabeck, Washington. This location, close to Hood Canal, added a special charm. Sam put a lot of love into planning every detail. The blue color scheme blended perfectly with the garden party theme.
They exchanged vows under a big tree in the side yard. It felt cozy and intimate. After the ceremony, dinner and the reception took place in the front yard. Sam found most of the decor at thrift stores, giving everything a unique touch. Each piece told a story, adding to the wedding's warmth.
One highlight was the sunset portraits we took overlooking Hood Canal. It was breathtaking. Aaron shared that he grew up jumping off the bridge nearby, creating a lovely connection to his childhood.
After sunset, the atmosphere shifted. The best part was the live rock concert. Aaron is a musician, and many friends in their circle play in bands. They all came together to put on a set for the guests. The vibe felt like an 80's prom with a punk rock twist, full of energy and joy.
Sam wore two vintage wedding dresses she had thrifted. Each one had its own character and fit beautifully with the day's theme. We captured moments throughout the day, especially the details. One cherished item was Sam's late grandma's Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. This book inspired many elements of their wedding day.
The day was not just about the formalities; it was about celebrating love in a way that felt real and true to them. The combination of backyard intimacy, musical energy, and personal details made this wedding unforgettable. It was a day that truly reflected who Sam and Aaron are as a couple.
