Rolling Wheat Fields - Shelby & Travis’s Engagement

I drove to Pullman, Washington, to meet Shelby and Travis. They are planning their wedding at Travis's family farm, about 20 minutes outside of the city. The charm of the farm is truly special.

As I arrived, we walked around the property, taking in the sights. Our first stop was an old barn. The couple plans to have their first look there on their wedding day. The barn has a rustic feel, full of character and warmth. It felt like the perfect place for such an intimate moment.

Next, we moved to the ceremony site. It’s situated in front of a big, beautiful tree near the main house. The tree adds a magical touch to the area. I can already picture how stunning the backdrop will be for their vows.

While we explored, we took some photos inside the barn. The low light created a cozy atmosphere. The images turned out beautifully, full of depth and emotion. In fact, one of those photos ended up winning the Junebug Engagement Photo of the Year for 2025. It was such a proud moment.

This couple's journey is meaningful. They share a deep connection with their family and the farm. The setting feels warm and casual, reflecting who they are. I can't wait to capture their special day, filled with candid moments and love. Washington has so many hidden gems, and this farm is truly one of them.
